So what's the scenario?

Ugh...you'd think I'd get five minutes to update this, right? Well throw that idea right out the freakin' window. Nutshell update:

1. Work is work. Under-staffed and stretched to the limit is no way to run a business.

2. Team has improved by leaps and bounds. Since my last update we have been playing around .500 hockey. I am proud of that.

3. Apartment is still gorgeous..although Amy and I both susbscribe to the notion that it's still summer until you turn the heat on. Needless to say we're both fighting off head colds.

4. NHL Center Ice is the GREATEST invention ever! The fact that I can sit in my MD apartment and see every Islander game is still something I am giddy over.

OK...I have decided to just take five minutes and write. It seems to be the only escape I can find in this office....so lucky you! I have I told you how much I despise my office mate? I am not a vindictive person, nor am I one to be unsympathetic to a person's problems but GEEZ! Every single motion this guy makes must be accompanied by a grunt or moan. Add to that is necessity to impersonate Keith Moon whenever he's typing on his computer and even the most tempered person will lose their lunch. This man is evil and he must be stopped.....or at least moved to another part of the zip code.

Best of luck to my sister-in-law, Deanna. Today she is taking the final part of her CPA exam and has spent the better part of the month studying for it! Keep her in your thoughts. Dee and Chris are quickly approaching 200 days until their wedding.

Aim and I have begun sharing our commute on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. It made sense, she goes right by a Metro station and I have a long standing love of standing in between tourists and giving them the wrong directions to the White House.

It's the simple pleasures, the no money fun that gets me up in the morning.

Good Day!
